Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a passion for technology to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a desire to drive growth through outbound prospecting and lead generation efforts. As an SDR, you will play a critical role in identifying and qualifying potential customers for our technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify and qualify leads through cold calling, email outreach, social media engagement, and other channels.
  • Research and understand target markets, industries, and buyer personas to tailor outreach efforts and messaging.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and engage in meaningful conversations to uncover customer needs and pain points.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to transition qualified leads and schedule product demonstrations or sales meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and lead interactions in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Continuously learn about our products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified leads and pipeline contribution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably at SAAS or AI company
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with prospects over the phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales productivity tools.
  • Tech-savvy with a genuine interest in technology products and solutions.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with outbound sales prospecting and lead generation techniques.
  • Familiarity with SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) or technology sales cycles.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or other technology domains.
  • Previous experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Certifications or training in sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler Selling System, Challenger Sale).
